Portrait Party #2 - SUNDAY

Portrait Party #2 is now complete. We all had a GREAT time!! The party went really smooth and I got to photograph some BEAUTIFUl children!! They all chose the teal background, which made it really easy to transition to each kiddo. I photographed about 8 different kiddos on Sunday, so not all of them are represented here...I need to do a little more editing. Enjoy!!

Portrait Party #1

Thank you to all who came to the Portrait Party on Friday, we had a great time!! All the kiddos were FANTASTIC!! I am not completely done editing all the pics, but here are a few for your Sneak Peek. Portrait Party #2 is on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the kids tomorrow! Enjoy!

What am I doing today?

Cleaning. Tomorrow and Sunday is the premier of my Portrait Parties. What is a Portrait Party, you ask? Well, I have 8 kiddos (each day) who are coming to my house for a very informal, relaxing 15-minute portrait session. The play room will be open, snacks will be provided and hopefully, fun will be had by all!! This is a great way to be in a relaxed atmosphere and take some quality pictures. The bonus is that no one has to pay a session fee!!! I had an overwhelming response when I proposed the idea to my mom's group, that is also why I am having two parties! :-) If all goes well, I will be doing lots of Portrait Parties in the future. I will post my results after the weekend. Have a good day!

Urban Model Photo Shoot

Went on a model photo shoot yesterday with a few other photogs in downtown Phoenix. The photog who organized the shoot, Kerry Allen, found a RAD location!! There was an open warehouse where some guys were spray-painting some awesome murals all over the walls. How urban is that?! We had three wonderful models, Ashley, Hailey, and Kristin...thanks girls! Little Ryland - 18 months old!!

Ryland is a little over 18 months old, WOW! I just purchased this beautiful teal seamless paper for my upcoming Portrait Parties and wanted to give it a test run. As always, Ryland volunteered to model for me...he did a great job! Although, it is harder and harder to get him to sit still the older he gets. The trick today was books, money, and flowers. Enjoy!!

Shane and Miranda - Sneak Peek!!

My step-brother, Shane, is getting married in August. They asked me to shoot their wedding and I gladly accepted. When I was visiting home this past week, we managed to sneak off for a couple hours and shoot their engagement pics. They were game for ANYTHING, which makes my job a lot easier. They turned out GREAT!! Thankfully, we had some good weather. Enjoy your pics guys!

Welcome KELTON PATRICK!!

Just returned from Spokane, WA. on a week long trip to visit my family. There was a new addition to the family that I had the GREAT pleasure of photographing...my new nephew, Kelton Patrick!! He was only 7 days old when I took these and he did AMAZING! I also included a very proud big sister picture of Kayna.

I will be spending the next few days getting caught up on emails, pictures, albums, etc. Thanks for looking!
