OFF ON VACATION!!!

Ryland and I are leaving for Spokane, WA tomorrow. A new addition to the family was born on Friday, March 28...Kelton Patrick! We are so excited to see everyone. I will post some pics upon our return. It will be business as usual starting on April 8th. BTW - it is SNOWING in Spokane!! Take care everyone!

The Bruun Family - SNEAK PEEK

Eyes Open Project in PV, Mexico

I stumbled upon a photographer, Kirsten Lewis, who is doing a very worth-while fundraising project. Not only does she have OUTSTANDING photographs, but she wants to spend her time making life better for others. She lives outside Puerto Vallarta and wants to help improve the conditions of a small local orphanage and animal shelter that are in desperate need of some help. Sleeping baby

I am doing a photo project with a photo board I belong to called "52 Weeks: My kids and I". You are supposed to take a picture each week with your son or daughter. Not many moms get in front of the camera, so I thought this was a great idea to get some pics of me and Ryland. This is my pic from Week 2...my wonderful husband, Mark, took this picture while momma and Ryland were havng a little siesta. Enjoy!

Stephanie and Adam - E Session Sneak Peek

I had the pleasure of shooting Stephanie and Adam's E-session yesterday, we had a super time! We went to a park in Gilbert, AZ and quickly found out that everyone in Gilbert also went to the park (Easter Sunday BBQ's). We did our best to try and avoid the crowds and I think we did a pretty darn good job. Steph and Adam are a blast to work with, very layed back and willing to do anything for a good pic. They also brought their dog along, Arie (SP?), who was a very big puppy. He did GREAT, especially with all the people around. I am looking forward to their wedding in October, it will be beautiful! Enjoy!

"Where I Come From" Contest!!! New Website Launched!

In celebration of my NEW WEBSITE: Keri Doolittle Photography, I am having a photo contest!!

THE CONTEST: Take a photo that represents the place where you live. I want you to get creative...just because you live in St. Louis that doesn't mean you need to go take a pic of the arch. I want something that really tells a story about your town. Please make sure to add a border to your picture (optional) and add a text box with your city name and state so we all know where the picture is taken. These will be judged by non-photography people, so you do not have to be technically perfect.

CONTEST DEADLINE: All photos must be emailed to me no later than Tuesday, March 25th at 5:00 PST. By emailing me your photo, you are agreeing for me to use and post your picture on my blog. Winners will be posted on Wednesday, March 26th.

The Sisters

One of my brides asked me to take some pics of her and her sisters for a Mothers Day gift. What a GREAT idea, I would LOVE to have some pics with my sisters!! These girls were a blast! We went to the The Farm at South Mountain and shot for about 1 hour. They are all so pretty, I had a great time!! Thanks girls for letting me take your pics, I hope you like them! Enjoy!

Anthem Days and calling all JUNIORS!!

I just finished up with Anthem Days, where I had a booth to market my business to our local community. I met some really nice people and hope to get a few gigs from the weekend. I am still searching for about 5-8 current juniors to be my Class of 2009 reps for Senior Pics. So, if you know any high-schoolers in the North Valley, I would love to meet with them.
My NEW website should be live within 1-2 weeks...YEAH!! You'll love the new look! I will post pics of my booth set-up soon. Hope everyone has a good St. Paddy's Day!!

Mini Golf Anyone?

Brett, Nancy, and Katie are in town from New Mexico, so we all went mini golfing. We had a GREAT time, but Ryland kept stealing everyone's golf balls the entire round. The golf course was AMAZING, some very cool things to look at and golf through. Ryland even got a hole-in-one...way to go!!

New Living Room!!

Well, the wedding season officially starts tomorrow with my first wedding of 2008...it should be GREAT fun!! So, in order to celebrate, we decided to wake up at 6 AM and drive 1.5 hours to get some new furniture for our formal living room. It was a LONG morning, but so worth it, I LOVE how our living room turned out. We are looking for 2 more accent chairs to complete the look. Sorry for the bright background, the sun just beats down through that window. Enjoy!!

Renee and Brock - E Session

What a rockin' session! Renee and Brock were game to do ANYTHING...so, we got a little creative! We took these at the Civic Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. A GREAT location with TONS of options. I can't wait to shoot their wedding in June, it'll be a hot one!! Thanks for a great session guys!

Emily and Jake - E Session

About 2 weeks ago I did Emily and Jake's Engagement session. These two were AWESOME!! They were up for anything and as a result, we got some GREAT pics!! They are getting married on October 24th and I am totally pumped to be shooting their wedding, thanks guys!!

I recently asked a friend if I could take pics of her son, Benjamin, for my booth at our local Anthem Days. He was GREAT!! He was a true model, posing and everything! He just started walking, so he was on the run most of the time, but we got some great shots!! Enjoy!
